The EMCOS crew of Paul Davis & Keith Richings completed the Challenger stages at Bovington last Sunday. After an awful 1st stage where a trio of spins lost the crew 30s, they clawed back time all day to gain the class lead, which they kept & finally finished 20th overall. Other EMCOS members Chris Smith & Richard Evans kept the car firing on all cylinders and took care of everything else in the service area.
They now have a couple of months to work on the next batch of upgrades to the car & are looking forward to doing a full ASWMC championship season next year.
Another great result for the EMCOS teamπŸ‘πŸπŸ†

The EMCOS crew of Paul Davis & Keith Richings competed in the patriot stages at Caerwent last Sunday 29th September in their Richings contracting sponsored Vauxhall Corsa B. After a steady start because of awfully wet conditions and not being in the car for nearly a year they slowly moved up the leaded board and were lying 3rd in class. After catching a car and having it spin in front of them costing a dozen seconds, things were still going ok, and the new sequential gearbox was performing well. Stages 3 & 4 went well despite another downpoor and they caught and passed another 3 cars and moved up to 2nd in class & 20th O/A. On stages 5 & 6 the service pair of Chris & Richie swapped the wet tyres for a set of dry tyres and the crew pushed hard and started taking time out of the class leader, but they ran out of stages, so couldn't improve on 2nd in class and 16th O/A which was a great result considering the conditions and being the 1st time out in the upgraded car. The crew are now looking forward to the next rally at Bovington camp on 17th November. ...
